The complex – consisting of the main unit that houses the kitchen, laundry room and two double bedrooms with shower along with the nearby outbuilding where the third bedroom with private bathroom is located – represents a typical architectural example of the culture and tradition of the place, restored to its original charm thanks to the recently-completed and painstaking restoration. These cozy indoor and outdoor rooms have air-conditioning, Wi-Fi internet, 3 TVs, a washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, electric oven and microwave, espresso machine and American coffee maker, wine cellar, outdoor shower, barbecue and private parking. Ideal for relaxing holidays in contact with nature, Zigulì is also an excellent base to easily reach the nearby historic town of Noto and the beautiful beaches of Noto Marina, Calamosche and San Lorenzo. You can take a short drive to reach the Vendicari and Marzamemi Nature Reserve, Syracuse, Scicli, Modica and Ragusa Ibla.

The pool areas and the views are absolutely beautiful. This a very private villa with no immediate neighbour, sounds of traffic or other noises. The beds are comfortable and the Aircon works well. The lighting is poor though, especially in the bathrooms where it’s needed most. Also sinks not great with no space around them. These things did not upset our holiday but this is not a cheap stay so this needs to be looked at. Finally…be careful, there are two villas almost exactly the same but one has a kitchen living area, the other has no interior living room area. We thought we had booked the one with the living room but had not. We were only 3 people so not an issue. It double check before you book. All in all we had a lovely time.
