We really enjoyed our stay at Grotto Getaway! The GeoDome was beautiful, very clean, and the beds were comfortable. I absolutely loved the dome and thought the whole experience was really unique. The property was very well equipped. Having a BBQ, firewood and marshmallow roasting sticks already there was such a nice touch. Everything we needed was provided. The spa area was really neat, and the kids absolutely loved the cold plunge! Hopefully, as the property grows, they’ll eventually be able to add a pool because that would be an amazing addition. The hot tub could definitely have been hotter, especially for the “older crowd” like me 😂. The showers, however, were extremely clean and had lots of hot water almost too hot because I actually managed to burn myself! 😂 The clear section at the top of the dome was a little disappointing. I was really looking forward to seeing the stars through it at night, but unfortunately it wasn’t clear enough to really see through.The Wi-Fi also didn’t work for us during our stay, but I mentioned this to the host and they were very responsive and said they would look into it. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The property was clean, comfortable, beautiful and thoughtfully equipped. We would definitely recommend it and would love to come back!
