The house was good. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and ocean view. The rooms were a good size, the beds comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen could do with a few additions like a bigger cutting board and paper towels but the kitchen was a good size and easy for a number of people to work around each other. The outdoors had ample areas and chairs for sitting and enjoying the environment. The mill/ log sort was noisy during the day. Upon arriving at the property, we were surprised to see an older man swimming in the pool. He ran off when he saw us. Not sure why but he left a hose running. I would suggest that the home owner get the top of the steep driveway graded. It is full of deep ruts. One of our party spun out in one of the ruts and began rolling backwards. Also, the ensuite shower water was freezing. After trying the separate shower heads, neither attained warm water so the shower was unusable. It’s a property with many positives but a few things should be addressed to get a 5/5 rating.
