I really enjoyed my room and the rooftop patio the most. The bed was really comfortable, the staff was always helpful, nearly every night I would go up to the rooftop patio and watch the sun go down. The hotel was directly across the street from TPaul's Supper club, and the food their was really good. Anything else I wanted to do in Astoria was within walking distance.

The Elliott is an older, historic-type hotel but the room was not musty like some older hotels are, and the bed was very comfortable. We had one issue with the blinds in the bathroom not coming down, but we were up high enough that we weren't too worried about anyone seeing in. LOL Breakfast option was quite limited so we ate elsewhere.

The air conditioner had gaps around it so gnats were in room. No shower gel. We reserved a king room and received a queen due to the reservation was lost/cancelled. We could hear people walking up and down stairs at night. The rooftop was great!

Great Hotel

We had a fantastic time as always. At hotel Elliott. We got a very nice room. The view over the city and I love the rooftop fireplace. We had many good conversations with other guests up there. The two evenings we were there. They have a great breakfast, the lady in charge of breakfast was a little unfriendly, doesn't smile but everything else was great and we will be back

This was an odd place in an odd (but cool) town. They put us in a dingy, small room with windows that were all askew and messed up, but when I complained, they put us in a better room. So that was nice. It was noisy, next to the stairs and people going up and down: thump, thump. The breakfast was really good. The town is great. And it was great to be in the middle of the downtown.

Location is great! Walkable to riverfront, dining, shops. Rooftop terrace has a great view of river and bridge. It’s just tables and chairs up there but you can bring up food or beverages. Overall hotel conditions a bit run down. Carpet in our room was badly stained and worn and needs to be replaced. Lobby staff a bit unprofessional and not customer service oriented at all (a newer staff member who actually was helpful was reprimanded in front of me while trying to check us in). Another counter employee was rather uninterested in being friendly or helpful … more interested in gossiping with a coworker. I’d stay again for the location but that’s the only reason.

Love the boutique look and feel of this hotel. Very clean and comfortable. The free continental breakfast was really good! And the location of hotel was perfect for us to walk to everything in town.
