Experience an immersive front-row view of the great Pacific Ocean! This magnificent single-level custom home is situated high on the ridge next to the 5th tee of the Highlands Golf Course has significant elevation for unobstructed views. It has been architecturally designed by Ralph Olson from Olson Group Architects to embrace the expansive panorama of views.

The wall of windows that adorns the west wall of the living/dining area beneath a vaulted open-beam ceiling treats you to a breathtaking view of ocean, crashing surf, dramatic sunsets, lights of fishing boats, rolling green golf course and wind-swept dune grasses stretching from Tillamook Head to the Columbia River.

The home features hand-planed black walnut floors throughout. A gas-log River Rock fireplace in the living/dining room invites you to a delightful sunken conversation area and offers to entertain from a large wet bar with built-in cabinetry, soapstone counters and hammered copper sink.

The kitchen boasts a stunning ocean view, custom cabinets, top quality appliances, soapstone counters and sliding door to a huge wrap-around ocean view deck. The exquisite primary suite features a seascape view, deck access and en-suite bathroom with marble counters and floors, as well as a soaking tub with its own ocean view!

The home layout provides considerable separation of the primary suite and the two guest bedrooms and elegant guest bathroom. Enjoy this incredible community, golf, and easy beach access down the boardwalk in this quiet gated community of Highlands at Gearhart!

Don't miss the game room which provides ping pong, foosball, and shuffleboard as well as some additional seating. It's a fantastic place for adults and kits to get together and have some fun experiences.

This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

Best house!!

Amazing house with great amenities! But the location is the best part - walking on the beach in 5 minutes or hiking trails in 20 min. We would stay here over and over!

The main goal of our stay was relaxation and this house helped achieve that goal. It was beautiful, clean, and well stocked with everything our family needed. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the game room most of the time while we were able to relax in the many wonderful spaces. Just opening the window or sliding glass door and you could hear the ocean which was a short walk away. We would definitely come back.

Beach House at The Highlands

This was the fifth year we have stayed at The Highlands and this house had, hands down, the most amazing views! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the living room and deck areas and taking in the beauty of the Pacific. We loved the location, and it was great to be able to play pickleball at the courts within the development.

Stunning home with an even more stunning view!

We booked this home for our family during our son's 4th grade basketball tournament in Seaside. I am the head coach and we had our awards dinner there Saturday night and the house could not have been better for our boys and family! Lots of different play options, a huge dining room table with roughly 25 different seats and sitting areas for lots of families to eat and mingle. We've talked about making this trip an annual tradition and the High Ridge House will always be the first place we look to book!

Beautiful setting

This lovely home in a gated community has a nice view of the ocean in the distance. There's a walking path nearby to Gearhart's beach--and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that we can drive on the beach so we took a few bundles of firewood and enjoyed some nice sunset bonfires down there. The operators were attentive and responsive to a few issues/questions we had. We enjoyed our stay!

Amazing Ocean Views

The pictures of this property do not do it justice. The unique layout of the house provides both privacy and a cozy feel. We especially enjoyed the deck and listening to the eclectic mix of vinyls on the record player in the evenings. The welcome bottle of wine was a sweet touch. We were able to use the well stocked kitchen to its fullest capacity during our 5 day stay. Would definitely return!

Best view of the beach (even on a rainy weekend)! The mgmt company is amazing and is very responsive. House is beautiful and the game room/garage was perfect entertainment for the adults and kiddos. This was our 2nd time staying here and definitely plan to come back!!
