As you make your way down the tree-lined hill, anticipation builds with every turn. Nestled in a peaceful bay on beautiful Chandos Lake, Loon Bay Serenity offers a tranquil escape framed by lush greenery and the gentle calls of loons across the water. Arriving through the cozy screened-in sunroom makes unpacking easy, rain or shine. Inside, the great room feels both spacious and cozy, with décor that celebrates art and history. The bright, inviting kitchen offers ample counter space and flows seamlessly into the dining area, where a large table seats eight and provides easy access to the outdoor deck for al fresco dining on warm summer nights. The family room, with vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, invites you to relax and take in the stunning views of Chandos Lake. Curl up by the woodburning fireplace on a cool evening or enjoy the natural light that fills the space. The main-floor primary bedroom offers a spacious retreat with a semi-ensuite bathroom just steps away. Upstairs, three additional bedrooms provide comfortable accommodations, including two Queen bedrooms and a bunk room for younger guests, complete with toys and books. Outside, follow the natural stone path to the lake, where a long dock is perfect for swimming and sun-soaked afternoons. A second, smaller dock closer to the cottage offers a peaceful spot for fishing beneath the trees.

This cottage faces east, providing wonderful sunrises and occasional reflected sunsets off the dock

There is a Smart TV at the cottage with limited access to streaming platforms. Amazon Prime is available with your own login creditials. To watch other platforms, please use your own devices to either stream, or, connect to the TV.

There is no dock access in winter (while the dock remains in the water, the ramp to the dock is raised during the winter)





Waterfront The cottage waterfront is 190’ wide, with water depth deepening from 6” deep at the shoreline to 9’ deep off the dock. There is a small area with a sandy bottom to the left of the main dock that can be used for shallow entry, but the best water access is off the dock using the dock ladder. The rest of the shoreline is rocky. There is great swimming with few to no weeds.



Close-By Attractions

Chandos Lake Beach. Public beach offering a large, grassy, picnic area, a roped off swim area & swim raft. There is Mobi-mat access for anyone with special access needs. (5 mins)
Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park. Kawartha Highlands Signature Site is the largest park in southern Ontario after Algonquin Provincial Park, and offers backcountry canoeing, camping, and hiking in any season.(25 mins)
Winter Activities. Ice fishing is available on the lake (bring your own equipment), and the cottage is near snowmobile trails. Cross-country ski trails are available at the Kawartha Nordic Ski Club (25 mins) or Silent Lake Provincial Park (30 mins).
Silent Lake Provincial Park. Year-round park offering over 19 km of hiking trails and 17 km of mountain biking trails, with a beautiful lookout point over Silent Lake. There are two sandy beaches. In the winter, more than 34 km of groomed winter cross-country ski trails are available. (30 mins)
