Disappointing. This place is in serious disrepair. Dirty inside and out. Hair in the bathtub, towels on the floor, mildew on the baseboards, moldy and broken fridge shelves, broken closet doors, sour smelling furniture, broken washer, pet stains on the carpeting, a trickle of water pressure in the shower. No fire pit as advertised. Upper deck is structurally unsound. Rusty, filthy patio furniture. Redeeming qualities are the off-street parking, beach access and responsive host. The upstairs AC was out when we arrived, and while we appreciate that the host was communicative and promptly tried to fix it, it was still 95 degrees on the second floor at 9pm on the first evening - the host suggested we bring the upstairs mattresses to the first floor, but that was not an option for us, as we needed separate bedrooms. We ended up not being able to stay there. It cooled down by the next day, but by that point, we had made alternate accommodations for our group. If your only criteria are to have a place to use the restroom and shower off after a beach day, then this will meet your needs. It served its purpose as a home base for our group on our beach day, but paying for two nights of accommodations for 6 people when only one could stay comfortably was frustrating.
