Issues with tv not working. Asked for help. No one explained the 2 remotes or how they worked. TV said no signal. It was supposed to be addressed while we were out. Returned to same issue and told we would have to wait until tomorrow. Fortunately I was able to figure out smaller remote that says room control was for the tv. Difficult to navigate but I was able to get something going.

The room faced a bright light and there was no way to close the black out curtains more than half way. The bathtub water dripped the entire time. Had to close the door to sleep. For the money, this hotel was ok nothing special.

Terrible stay

My wife and I booked a room at the Hampton Inn Airport in Norfolk Virginia for one night on Thursday July 24, our itinerary # is 397486. During our stay we woke at 1:30am to find our A/C unit not working, also there was no display on the thermostat, our room was boiling. I called the desk and they told me there wouldn't be anyone available until morning to look at it and that they were full so another room wasn't available. In the morning my wife went to take a shower and there was no hot water, my son also complained of this as he had booked another room, I would like a refund for our stay as it was a really poor experience.

Very clean and quiet aside from a door slamming multiple times at 5am. No screaming matches, no slamming doors all night long, no weed smell, no filth, no mould. Staff was very helpful and polite. The room was spacious.

Overall average hotel. Good part - excellent service, breakfast. Beds were average comfy. Not so good part - Very outdated , wall papers starting to rip, carpet smells musty. Very low light in room even with all lights on. Not worth the price. Will find other options next time.
