Fantastic Staff. Front desk-Ed. Tamika. Cecibel in the property’s restaurant. Head of house cleaning. We had to change rooms and were accommodated easily and immediately. Big rooms with a fridge and microwave and coffeemaker and thermostat control. Regular housekeeper did not make up our beds.

Overall, the room was ok and beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, just after checking in around 7pm, I killed a cockroach in the middle of the room which was the size of a large beetle. Have tried to insert photo but the site won’t allow. We’re from NYC so we know a cockroach when we see one. My son took it to the front desk to complain (evening of 10/27/25) and the hotel employee assured him that the room rate would be lowered to compensate for being grossed out. Discovered when checking out that the employee was just giving him lip service. Booked through Expedia so rate couldn’t be changed. This bug could have been brought in via someone’s luggage with no fault at all to the hotel. I’m sure that happens. But I’ve used Holiday Inns forever and this was a bit disappointing, especially with a front desk employee of theirs not being truthful right to our face.
