The room was decent - the partial ocean view was nice. The staff person was nice and accommodating. The property is close to the beach but no beach access. My husband spilled some water on the floor and when he wiped it up the towel was so dirty. Not sure how often they clean the floors. The sauna and hot tub was not functional which was disappointing because that was one of the main reasons i booked it.

The interior of the room was fine. The exterior of the hotel was inferior. There were many, many scrapes on wall of the hallways, especially around the elevators. Couldn't someone take a bucket of paint and paint over the scrapes??

The staff was very good. The property itself is in need of paint and someone needs to empty the garbage cans outside. The elevator is extremely noisy. It needs some repair the area around the elevator also needs some paint. I’ve seen much cleaner hotels and I’ve seen worse on a scale of one to 10 I would give this place a six.

The property looks nice from the street and my first impression of the room was good. The lighting in the room was terrible. The bed was very comfortable but the sheet was very thin with no mattress pad (ewww). All the bedding what white with no top layer making it easy to accidentally stain. the mismatched furniture looked like it came from garage sales. The stained mesh office chair was the most comfortable of the 3 seating choices. The cushiony arm chair next to the bed where you could see the tv had no bottom support so you sank into it like it was broken. It was a very dark room with a large bedside driftwood lamp with no apparent switch. I had to pull the heavy lamp away from the wall to find the switch on the cord in the back! the only other lights in the main room was a hanging lamp over the dinette table with a low watt bulb and a standing floor lamp right next to the hanging lamp with a bare bulb with no shade. When I opened the light blocking curtains to enjoy the semi ocean view I was face to face with a lady watching her dog poop on the grass in front of the window. Everyone outside wanting to watch the sunset across the street had full view of my first level room, so the curtains stayed closed. The TV was the size of a small computer monitor. The fridge was noisy, the building was noisier, Garbage bags next to trash cans for 2 full days, the grounds/landscaping were terrible or a post apocalyptic art piece(?) And breakfast was too crowded to get in. Won't return

Im pretty sure my booking said ocean view, but when I got there the clerk said my booking was for a standard room, so we had to pay an extra $30. Its an 8 minute walk to the beach. Several cute little shops within walking distance. Rooms were clean.

We were running late to check in (check in is at 4PM, we arrived a bit after 8PM) and the front desk called around 7PM to make sure we were on our way. We were surprised to learn at check-in that there’s a $10 charge per dog, per night. We have 2 small chiweenies & stayed 4 nights, so getting an $80 charge after paying almost $700 for our room was a bit disappointing. We stayed in the double bed, ocean view room. The view of the ocean is nice but please know a building and power lines somewhat obstruct the view. The building is not shown in the advertised pics. You can hear the waves if you open the big window. Bees kept flying into the room during the day. The walls were very thin (we heard children running around and when 2 men were talking next door, we heard every word of their convo as if they were in our room. It was a bit unnerving). The beds, bedding, and pillows were comfortable. 4 pillows per bed was a nice touch. The tv was small but I may just be spoiled - plenty of channels to watch. Small microwave and fridge. The bathroom was well stocked. Shower had Dial body soap and Dial shampoo. Water pressure was weak but the water temperature was amazing. The shower head was unusually low, I’m 5’8 and kept hitting my head on it. Toilet seat had big cracks in it which felt a bit unhygienic. Breakfast had basic cold items but they do have a waffle station. Location is great & safe, short walk to the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our time and the staff were really pleasant.

Not worth the money

The room was unclean. Breakfast was 2 hours late don't know what they served because I had to leave. The place was old but could have been much better maintained. Was not worth 160.00 per night off season. could have gotten a much better room for less money.

While the location is good, I can’t say the same for the hotel. The room I booked wasn’t ready when I arrived (apparently the cleaning staff walked out on the job) and had to be switched to a new room. The front desk staff was frequently missing from the office as well.

Overall a Good Experience

We had a great time staying at the hotel. We used the Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, and enjoyed the Breakfast. We had a great view, besides the telephone wires in front of the window, and the room was comfortable. The pool building could use some updating as the ceiling is peeling a bit and the jets in the hot tub were inoperable. Overall it was a good experience and the employees were extremely attentive, informative, and helpful.

Ocean views and sounds were great to have at such a low price, hotel is older and not in the best condition but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean and the front desk staff were very friendly ladies. It’s tucked away off of main drag next to apartments and houses near the beach so it’s very quiet.
