My son and I booked here very last minute as my dad was admitted to the Northumbrian Emergency Centre. It was only 10 minutes from the hospital so very convenient. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were all lovely I’d definitely stay here again and recommend x

Great hotel and staff above and beyond, enjoyed sunbathing in pool area during the heat wave sauna steam room cold dip aswell very soothing tea tray on room no biscuits 🥲 will definitely be back and bring own hobnobs, 10 % of bill so charge to room because you can only use once restaurant expensive great bluebell pub £5 in taxi and drinks much cheaper Wetherspoon blue bell will beer garden very friendly staff stay open late for World Cup then bar staff droped us of at hotel early hours ❤️

The village inn was a great place to stay in terms of the hotel itself. I only put 3 stars due to the buffet breakfast being burnt and scrambled eggs white as snow (too much cream) would not recommend paying for that. Also you will be charged for parking regardless of the fact you are staying with the hotel which felt a bit greedy.
