The staff were awesome. The room & bathroom felt unclean. Bathroom smelly & shower broken/ loose pipes and difficult to get water that wasn’t freezing or scalding, sink wouldn’t drain. TV & WiFi were not working- staff helped to sort it but it took ages- no instructions for anything, no out of hours number. Pub downstairs was fun & lively with food options, but the music was Loud and banging til midnight. Thin curtains let in the light, noisy road outside, hot room with window I couldn’t reach to open & sparse furnishing. Pretty poop, but great staff

For a cheap room for a night its ok, no issues great little pub downstairs, food and drinks was spot on. Plenty of parking around the area. If I was in that area again, I would book it with no hesitation.. 40 quid for a big city stayover bargain.

Close to the city centre, top floor - quiet stay, a bit dated room and the building. Nice and friendly people at the reception/bar. No heating, so we were quite cold. Comfy beds.

Hanson Hotel, Cog and Wheel.

Check in was a breeze, staff were friendly and helpful, room was spacious, bathroom was cramped but clean, bar was lively, food looked great but I didn't have time to sample it, can't ask more for a budget hotel to be fair. Location is very handy for the city centre too. I would stay here again.
