The accommodations were as advertised. If you’re looking for a comfortable, reasonably priced place for a group or family with free parking, this is a good option. We especially appreciated the tasteful décor, thoughtful furnishings, and spacious layout.The property is located on the edge of a rougher neighborhood, but we felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The location worked well for our plans, we prepared some meals at the property and traveled into Manhattan for most of our dining and sightseeing. Just be aware that there are very limited sit-down restaurant options within the immediate neighborhood, and the few take out restaurants I stopped in seemed ill prepared to serve what I would consider staples to their advertised fare.One thing to note is that there are quite a few stairs, so this may not be the best choice for anyone with mobility challenges or who prefers to avoid climbing steps.On our final day, my nephew and I took the local bus to the subway instead of driving to Journal Square and taking the PATH. It took only a little longer yet was a convenient alternative.Our host was welcoming, quick to respond & accommodated our needs.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this property again.Great budget friendly option for those interested in adventuring out to the Big Apple.
