My experience at this hotel was absolutely terrible. I called the manager before check-in time to let him know I’d be arriving late for the room I had already paid for. He assured me it was “no worry” and confirmed that I was checked in. After driving one hour to get there, I was shocked when the front desk staff told me there were no rooms available—and I wasn’t the only guest dealing with this issue. I was exhausted, tired, and frustrated after being given completely inaccurate information by management. After hours and hours of waiting, they finally gave me a room, but it was barely clean and nowhere near acceptable after the ordeal I had been through. This experience was unprofessional, stressful, and extremely disappointing. I would like to speak with someone higher up in management because this situation needs to be addressed immediately.

The location was an 8-minute drive via the free hotel shuttle to Newark Liberty making it a great location to catch the NJ TRANSIT train.The shuttle’s timing was reliable and when we were under crunch time, they offered a taxi for $25 to Newark Liberty. The staff was polite and accommodating. Other than a left-over sock on the floor, the room was spotless. The walls are a little thin so people laughing/talking can be heard from the room-beside-your-room. There is complementary in-room coffee but you need to provide the water. Our room faced Newark Liberty but we barely heard the jets.

Room is spacious, no microwave oven. There was a lot of 'weed' smokers outside in the smoking areas and they bought in the stink to elevators and rooms. Unsafe neighborhood. Access to airport and shuttles are only benefit. Long queues for shuttle and gets crowded in morning rush hours.

Our stay was going great until Saturday. Around 12:27 PM, my family and I returned from breakfast and noticed that our room hadn't been cleaned. I saw the housekeeper working in the room across from ours and asked if she wanted us to step out to the lobby so she could clean our room. She told me that she would not be cleaning our room. I then asked if we could at least have fresh towels, and she said no, and that we would need to speak with the front desk. Feeling confused, I went downstairs to address the situation. The front desk gave me one towel and said that someone would probably bring a couple more. At that point, the experience was very disappointing, and honestly, after this, I would not stay here again.
