Staff was great. Bar/small restaurant is a bit too brightly lit but the people there were very nice as well. Fun fellow guests during the World Cup. The hotel is directly across from the downtown Newark Penn Station so it is very convenient for travelers.

Perfect location for our random adventure to NYC. Parking in the LAZ garage was $70 for overnight. That was expensive. It was clean, rooms and bathrooms are a little dated but overall we had a good experience. Everyone was nice and helpful.

No complaints during my stay at this hotel. The check-in was smooth, the staff is accommodating, and the place is clean. It’s near the Newark Penn Station which can take you directly to NYC (World Trade Center) or if you’re visiting for the World Cup, it takes you to MetLife Stadium. Just be aware of your surroundings but apart from that, it was a great stay at this hotel.

Overall, the hotel was okay. The room was a very good size but the bathroom was standard but a tad bit outdated. The front desk staff were very helpful and eager to help you. The only problem was the parking situation as the garage right next to the hotel charges insane fees so if you bring a car you might have to park a little farther for a better price (south garage) and walk to the hotel.
