Check in was a nightmare. We advised beforehand that we'd be taking our 1 month old baby and when we arrived, we hadn't been provided any information on what unit it was nor did they provide door codes. Robert (the host) continuously claimed that he didn't get receive our payment for our stay, however we had paid and had a confirmation email directly from Vrbo themselves and that was what we kept telling him. It wasn't until I had spent an hour over the phone with Vrbo customer service sitting in my car with my infant child crying that he finally provided the proper entry information. Once inside, we noticed the apartment was not clean whatsoever. The windowsills and pillows had dead bugs on them, floors had dust all over, and the shower curtain had a disgusting amount of mold on it. Not to mention, the shower did not work and for four days in our stay we had to shower by filling up big containers with water and pouring them over our heads because we had no other place to stay.
