I would say this hotel is 3 stars at BEST. I wouldn’t go so far to say 2 stars. The hotel could be cleaner, I had to wear shower shoes but it wasn’t super dirty overall. Staff is nice. About a 10 minute walk from the subway, area is somewhat safe at night, but definitely a lot of people during the day. Not sure if I would stay here again unless it was one of the more affordable options (like in this instance). But I don’t regret staying here as well. I would only say it was worth it depending on the nightly rate.

Our reception was very poor from a guy we later saw in elevator reeking of pot. Out of 6 elevators only 2 were working. We received very cheap soap and even then we didn’t get enough. In 5 days, housecleaning came 2 times. But…the location is great.

Subpar option near financial district

Stayed here as only option near a work conference. Only 1 of 3 elevators was in operation and even that wasn't in great shape. Bathroom ceiling above shower had multiple moldy spots. Generally in need of updates. Staff wasn't the most helpful.

If you can get a decent price, this place isn’t bad. Located right by WTC and easy access to all the subways. Didn’t have a bad experience overall and for what I paid it was fine. I think this place does need some upkeep as they only had 1 working elevator of 3, the bathroom had pretty poor lighting and overall the room could use TLC to keep it updated. So I say again, if you get a good price, do it, if not, I would consider the large chain hotels as they usually are forced to keep rooms more updated.

Location is amazing. The view to the one World Trade Center and close walking distance to the oculus and subway station was very convenient. If I had to critique anything it would be that one 1 of 3 elevators were running. Really enjoyed visiting NYC for the first time.

Our original room had a broken HVAC system requiring us to move to another room. The door would not always automatically lock and the service people let me know that was a system error that all the doors do. I also woke up the second day with bug bites (3).

I was a little surprised by the limited options in our room. There was zero extra blankets or pillows Only 2 towels and a bath mat No hand towels or facial rags. Mini fridge was locked and was not useable so leftovers were wasted Hallways to rooms were old dingy and dark Room view was amazing! Staff very kind Elevators- only one in operation and everyone had to wait for several minutes to get up or down to their floors. Personally feel for the amount of money we paid for our room we should have had access to mini fridge and had full set of towels There was also no access to rooftop lounge area - one of the reasons we picked this hotel.

Cat fished!!

Great location however the hotel is very ran down. The picture are not up to date at all. Only one working elevator and the hotel looks like it’s falling apart. The bathroom were very disgusting to the point that I didn’t feel comfortable putting my bare feet on them. Book at your own risk.

Misleading Photos & Poor Experience Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The pictures shown on Expedia do not accurately reflect the property or rooms in their current condition. The reality was a musty room, poorly cleaned bathroom, no microwave, no breakfast, and refrigerator barely working. Overall, this stay did not meet even basic expectations of cleanliness and comfort. I would not recommend this property to other travelers.

There is a death in the family so U couldn’t attend. I notified this hotel and they refused to cancel and refund me. This isn’t a missed flight, this is a death yet they couldn’t accommodate a grieving customer. I will never book again.
