Couldn’t make booking cause of medicinal kisses was promised a refund after paying $1.1k in taxes for not cancelling before checking in - hotel took my payment and still refuse to give me a refund toallying in taking $4k from me for not even staying.

The room was clean, but could use some updates. The bathroom has pocket doors for the shower and toilet. The sink area only has a curtain. Front desk was friendly, housekeeping left us without toilet paper and took our extra clean towels that we had requested the day before. Last night we were there had no hot water and still none in the morning. Hotel was fine if you aren’t going to be there much, near subway station to get downtown. Area was a little sketchy at night.

Room was full of dust. Bottle of lotion was half way used up. The body wash was empty which shows you no staff cleaned the room prior to arrival. Oh and food was TERRIBLE as well The design is an open concept which is terrible because if you are staying with someone else and they have to use the bathroom you can hear and smell everything

I left my room and came back and grabbed my door handle and was able to get into my room without a key when I called the engineer showed up and it locked when he was there so I felt kind of silly because it did happen just not in front of him... I had someone send me flowers to the hotel at 1:55 in the morning after my long flight and ride to Harlem the front desk called me and asked me to go down from the 22nd floor to the 5th floor at 155am to get the arrangement…I waited until morning. I ordered room service the food was cold and my ice cream completely melted!!! Checking in is very strange after a long flight I got to the hotel I walked in and the 5th floor is a restaurant and bar and everyone was dressed up and it’s super crowded with the luggage and and the elevator waiting area and people trying to get through to use the restrooms from the restaurant very narrow area for all the unused seating areas they have. Also the check in is very unimpressive and uninviting. The final straw was I was leaving my room again and the door didn’t lock I was smart this time and took a video of it. Also the bathroom is cute but when I got there the doors were closed and when I opened them the sewer gas was so gross and strong smelling. Also there are apparently people who live in the building permanently but not attached but I could see into their homes and one on the 20th floor had a completely smashed window with glass missing it look slightly terrifying! Minus 10 score

Lovely windows and not a bad view; howevr, the street and store lights shone through room flimpsy curtains. Three a.m. it appeared to be 6:30 a.m. There was no privacy in out bathroom - very challenging when friends dropped by for a drink. Was that design by intention or an error? Had we had the time, we would have asked for a different room. Will anyone get to us about this?

Placed n handicapped room and not offered a change I asked if because of the low price and told no but I wonder. Told only king bed available was the reason. He gave me. Agent was nice I was given bo options I asked for call to notify me that it was handicapped and agent didn’t answer. primarily the handicap shower set up -lots of water leaking of water into floor and no counters bathroom. Floor wet etc mat soaked etc. 2nd night shower was the factor. Never again so want to know why I was put there!
