My wife and I enjoyed everything about the renaissance hotel. The ambiance hits as soon as you enter, The restaurant was good, the service was good and professional. It was jazz night upon are arrival. The vocalist and band was very good. We'd definitely like to return and recommend this spot to ANYONE ready to visit.

With a relative in Harlem this is the 4th time I have stayed at this property. I do not plan on going back. Each time I have stayed there The hotel had a an odor. This time was no different and an employee confirmed to be that they have pipping issues that causes the sewage to back up and smell.

The checkin desk is in the back on the 5th floor. You actually walk into a bar before you find the checkin desk. The room floor was never swept. The room was small no refrigerator and no slippers. The restaurant food was warm and the breakfast was bad. The bread tasted stale and the bacon was reheated. There is someone always in the lobby spraying air freshener.

Our stay at the Renaissance New York Harlem Hotel was wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and an inspiring reflection of the genius Harlem, New York through the ages. The staff was attentive, responsive, professional, well-informed and courteous throughout our stay. The restaurant staff was great, the menu was rich and diverse in it's culture and the food was delicious! we look forward to staying at the Renaissance New York Harlem Hotel next time we travel through the "Big-Apple".
