Nice location, decent rooms, pretty typical Moxy. But also lots of issues. (1) Absurd "resort fee", that then gives you $20 credit (I'll make my own food choices, thanks; also, almost nothing on the menu is under $20, so it's just a way to get you to spend *even more*). (2) For a "city that never sleeps", morning coffee not available before 7am. ) (3) When I visited they had "free breakfast", which was just a bunch of plastic-wrapped muffins. So it felt both scammy and overpromising/underdelivering.

Perfect for a one person stay at new york. the location is at the heart of new york and you can easily go around using the metro to get anywhere else. They do make you pay an extra 200 amenity fee when you arrive. But they give you a $20 to use at their cage (which you probably wont end up using because youll go out most days lol) Very pleasant stay! perfect for a solo traveler, if you bring someone else i fear the bathroom doors wouldnt leave much for privacy...

Moxy Times Square is an absolute gem. Well located, clean, with efficient rooms that are spartan but well thought out. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cafe and restaurant were convenient and high quality. I’d stay here again if I had the chance, and I plan to!

It would be a five except the door to our bathroom did not open and close more than 5 inches. Otherwise great location, really friendly and helpful staff clean and quiet rooms.
