Fine for overnight before or after flight

We took an Uber to the hotel, as the shuttle only runs once an hour and we didn’t want to wait. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but then the whole area around JFK is industrial. There is a Subway Sandwich Shop just a few blocks away if you want to walk somewhere for dinner. The hotel is being updated and our room was fine. Breakfast is just ok, a lot of prepackaged stuff, although they did have a waffle maker. We arrived before the 3pm check in so we were charged $40 for early access to our room.

The best thing about this property was the proximity to JFK Airport and convenient airport shuttle. The free breakfast was decent but nothing amazing. The coffee and the sausages were the best thing. For other meals they do offer some food options but it was limited. It was easier to order Italian or Chinese food from the menus at the front desk. My room was fine but a bit cramped. The shower was easy to access compared to a bath tub. The TV offered a bunch of free ESPN sports channels. That was nice.

Fabulous hotel, close to airport and very convenient with the shuttle bus help! The staff are really friendly. The rooms aren’t sound proof though so could hear a lot of commotion in the night but it’s nothing the staff can sort. Overall, a good stay and reasonable price. Thank you x

It was a very practical and convenient option. Service was great. Very helpful receptionist as we did nothave a reservation because we weren't expecting to have to stay an extra night in NY, and she helped us out with the booking, because we were running into an issue online. The neighborhood is not the greatest but if you want to be close to the airport, this is by far the best nearby spot.
