Rooms were very clean and cleaned daily. Staff were all so friendly, excellent coffee. Grab and go bar variety could be a little improved, more choice of hot rolls to take away / bagels etc. Restaurant food and drink very good. Clean and amazing value for money, definitely coming back!

The room was at 75 - 77 degrees at all times even when I tried to turn on the AC in the room, it actually got hotter. The thermostat may have been broken, but it definitely wasn't working. The hot water didn't work either and I was forced to take a cold shower. The fridge in the room wasn't really working while we're on the list of things that were broken in the room. The items in the fridge were luke warm even after putting it overnight. I had a one night stay, thankfully, but I spent the first 3 hours at the hotel at the lobby waiting for my room to be ready. After complaining about the long wait in getting my room, I was put in a room on the 3rd floor. I think this was a floor where staff clocked in and where they stored supplies. I understand that the staff are working, but it was loud even at night. Overall, a terrible experience for someone that was staying there for 18 hours. This was my 4th time staying at this particular hotel and the quality and experience has decreased drastically. It was a waste of time and money. I will most likely be looking for better options next time I am in SoHo.

Be aware that rooms are crazy small it’s for sure only for 1 person and even for one it’s tiny. No place to open your suitcase, no closet. Sink is in the room next to bed, from the bed you can touch the shower. Everything is reachable by hand 😂

Clean room but tight quarters. Had to go sideways between television and bed to get to other side of bed. The sliding door for the bathroom offers no privacy. Elevators work quickly.

Initially concerned that room was too tight/small, but it grew on us. Very efficient use of space. Might be problem for anyone with mobility issues due to tight spacing of bed. Very comfortable bed & best shower I’ve ever used( amazing water pressure and shower head.

Took the train in, close to canal subway stop on the 1 and E on spring. Safe, good food inside the hotel, rooftop bar was great. Clean, small like all NYC rooms but this was a top 3 room by value. Oh! They have a little shop in the lobby and it has your essentials, that’s cool

We loved our stay at the The Arlo. We booked the king room with a balcony and it was literally a sun deck with two lounge chairs and an out door shower with a view of the Hudson. Amazing. It was a perfect place for an afternoon nap before we went to the Masquerade Ball we attended in NYC. Really comfy beds.

I chose this property based on reviews, description, and location. I was disappointed upon arrival, long line and wait to check in. I'm not sure what the issue was but there was at least eight couples, families waiting to check in at the same time, 3p. The staff was professional just not sure why it took so long. The room had two twin beds, which I thought would be a good fit for my daughter and me. I love living minimalistically, however, the accommodations were bare bones. We only needed the room for sleeping and getting ready for the day, however, the sound of the city felt like it was next door. The sirens, horns, and voices were loud throughout the night. Yes, we stayed during a weekend, but the noise kept us up most of the night. The shower had excellent water pressure and heat, but as far as room to bathe yourself, I turned the water off so I could see the bubbles of the soap. The hotel and room are very modern. I liked the decor and aesthetic throughout. There was no continental or complimentary breakfast. I am not sure why this was included in the description of the hotel. The restaurant inside, Lindens, had an incredible breakfast menu. My daughter is quite particular and she was satisfied with her pancakes. I opted for the avocado toast and it was delicious. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the coffee was strong. The location was excellent within walking distance of Trader Joe's and eateries.

The room was nice, the beds were cozy and the shower was great. The only issue was that the TV always turned on full blast in volume no matter what volume it was when we turned it off. The hotel is also very busy but that is expected for NYC.
