I chose this property based on reviews, description, and location. I was disappointed upon arrival, long line and wait to check in. I'm not sure what the issue was but there was at least eight couples, families waiting to check in at the same time, 3p.
The staff was professional just not sure why it took so long.
The room had two twin beds, which I thought would be a good fit for my daughter and me. I love living minimalistically, however, the accommodations were bare bones.
We only needed the room for sleeping and getting ready for the day, however, the sound of the city felt like it was next door. The sirens, horns, and voices were loud throughout the night. Yes, we stayed during a weekend, but the noise kept us up most of the night.
The shower had excellent water pressure and heat, but as far as room to bathe yourself, I turned the water off so I could see the bubbles of the soap.
The hotel and room are very modern. I liked the decor and aesthetic throughout.
There was no continental or complimentary breakfast. I am not sure why this was included in the description of the hotel. The restaurant inside, Lindens, had an incredible breakfast menu. My daughter is quite particular and she was satisfied with her pancakes. I opted for the avocado toast and it was delicious. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the coffee was strong.
The location was excellent within walking distance of Trader Joe's and eateries.
