This place is a complete nightmare. The owner is having a giant party for his friends and there is a loud dj blasting dance music shaking my room. It's almost midnight and they will do nothing. Never ever stay here. Never. Over $600 and it is the worst place I have ever been to

Our room was excellent - the bed and shower in particular. The room was quiet, the walls thick between rooms, electronic keys and door notices, and tasteful furniture and lighting. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was quiet but central.

Room was clean and well stocked with amenities. My only complaints is that the walls are very thin so you can hear everything form the hallways and other rooms. Also, the proximity to the above ground train isn’t ideal as it’s pretty noisy.

Altogether, I enjoyed my stay at 42 Hotel. The room was nice and very comfortable. I was especially impressed by the blackout blind that were controlled by a remote. I didn't partake in any of the free breakfasts or amenities, but did appreciate the free bottles of water. The staff were courteous and Miguel was especially friendly and helpful. I greatly appreciate the 12pm check out that he was able to provide. I was less impressed with the individual at the front desk who was unable to provide assistance for a later check out time when I got to the hotel at 5:30 AM on Sunday. I got the impression he simply didn't want to bother and less than manager was needed. Despite that minor bump, I'd recommend 42 Hotel to anyone staying in this part of Williamsburg.

Room was very small - difficult to have 2 large suitcases in the room because there isn't space for them. The staff is great. The floor of the room was not clean. There was hair, debris and partially empty bottles of water (2) under the bed-skirt. I liked the location and, again, the staff was fantastic.
