"While the first impression was unexciting, definitely no frills, budget decor, etc, the more we looked around the more impressed we were. The room was surprisingly big, very clean, and well equipped. Good bathroom, clean fresh towels, excellent shower, great TV, decent bed, top-notch air conditioning, fast wifi. Quite satisfactory for a night's rest. Staff were all polite and helpful. But it was the BREAKFAST that blew us away. The very kind gentleman who works the breakfast buffet greeted us and offered to cook our eggs however we liked them. No doubt the scrambled eggs on the buffet were fine, but he happily fixed us fried eggs cooked just right. He said he buys Amish farm eggs, and has even made special breakfasts for certain large groups. Sausages, waffles, yogurt, cereal, etc, as usual, but this man's personal attention made it a breakfast to remember. And the coffee was amazingly good too, far better to my taste than typical hotel coffee. Altogether a much better stay than you'd expect for the bargain price. Definitely recommend to anyone not wanting to pay twice the price just for pretty pictures on the wall."
