One reason I stayed at The Roosevelt because it is about a block from the Saenger Theatre. Other reasons would include the comfort level of the bedding and because they have the most spectacular Christmas decorations of any hotel Ive ever seen. Dont come here looking for an inexpensive room or cheap anything for that matter. This is a luxury hotel and you pay luxury prices for it. Not complaining just letting you know The Waldorf Astoria brand is well known. Make it a special trip and come though. Check in service is good and fairly quick. If you are an HH Honors member the app can be used for check-in completely skipping the front desk. This does not work with third party bookings. The cafe opens at before 7am and has great selections and service. The bars off the lobby are well managed and generally packed. No cheap drinks. The restaurant has decent food and service. I believe it to be a bit pricy too. The King Suites are fabulously comfortable with 100% cotton by Frette. They come with a mini bar, a Nespresso, glassware and supplies for coffee. The pool deck looks great for summer fun. I'll be back Urban Cowgill December 2025

The room was not good and the food at the restaurant was very bad. I am saying this because I paid a lot of money and expected a better experience. But the hotel, after I complained, gave us a little bit credit which was nice. Overall the whole experience was okay but was not with the money spent.

We stayed her for our 37th anniversary. The place was awesome. It was so clean and nicely decorated for the Christmas season. We had drinks at the bar and the service was first class and so were the drinks. There is a restaurant in the establishment but we did not eat there. We had dinner at Dickey Brennon's. I actually dropped my phone the morning that we were leaving and housekeeping picked it up and gave it to security. I'm thankful for that person. I highly recommend this establishment.
