When we arrived, we were told our room had been given away, even though we had paid for it through Expedia. They downsized us from a one bedroom to an efficiency, then tried to tell us it was the same cost. After much discussion, they offered a $34.00 refund. We noticed in the room only one nightstand for a king bed, the phone didn’t work, there was no shampoo or body wash in the shower (only hair conditioner). There were coffee supplies, but no coffee packets. The efficiency was so small, we had to turn sideways to pass each other at the foot of the bed. Also the closet had no door. We had to go to the front desk, or call by cellphone, to get everything we needed. Also we blew a bathroom fuse with just the light on & their hairdryer. We would not recommend this hotel, nor will we ever stay here again. There are too many very nice places to stay in New Orleans!!

Overall it was good value based on our other options in the area at the time. The location was within 20 minutes walking distance of all the areas we wished to see such as French Quarter, Jackson square, steam boat tours. Room was clean but plain and a little dated. They were busy with hotel maintenance during our stay showing a commitment to improvements. Breakfast was acceptable as a free breakfast with options including eggs, toast and bagels, cereals, but choices were limited. Checkin was one of the longest I have ever experienced at a hotel, with multiple issues with multiple guests before us and including us - such as not accepting deposit payment. Overall, I would stay there again since I saw it as good value for a place to sleep.

I checked into this property on 10/23, the hotel has no free parking. The hotel agent says we can valet for $54 a day or you can park in the garage for $20 a day. Which turns out it went up to $30 from Fri-Sun. I had a King bedroom. The carpet was dirty, the room looks old and out dated, the TV didn’t work in the living room. After several attempts to get someone to get it taken care of nothing was done. The cleaning stuff are rude and there are RATS!! YES Rats are running in the parking garage and on the 3rd floor of the hotel on the patio. On 10/26 I made management aware of the issues and how unhappy I was, he wanted make it right with another day half price. Well when I went to get a new key the front desk agent said she don’t see a reservation, I had to search my husband bank card to find it!! Long story short, this property needs an adjustment!! Clean your carpet, we should be able to get ice with out a hassle, or at least provide ice trays in the fridge.. Your staff needs to be more courteous to the guest. I was so disgusted, I left and got a room somewhere else.
