Overall, the Hotel Indigo in New Orleans French Quarter was lovely. The hotel staff was friendly, the rooms (although a little small) were beautifully decorated, and the hotel was modern. With that said, I did experience a couple issues. However, the hotel quickly resolved most of them.
Initially I enjoyed the restaurant. The first meal I had there was blackened fish for dinner and it was amazing. I ordered one of the mocktails on the menu too and the bartender wasn’t even aware that they even served mocktails. However, he told me to tell him the ingredients and then he made it. By the way, it was delicious! The following morning, I ordered the breakfast bagel and it was a total disaster! Also, please update your website as the restaurant hours are not correct at all. I came down for brunch at 11am as the website says 6am-2pm and they told me brunch was over. Also, staff should be aware as to what they offer, i.e. mocktails.
As for the room, the walls were paper thin. The girls in the room next to me were extremely loud throughout the night and in the morning. I called the front desk multiple times to complain, but no one ever answers the phone.
As for the outside of the hotel, it was very noisy at night and sometimes in the early morning hours. Homeless people were sleeping on the sidewalks as well. Not good.
The Ice closet door is very hard to open due to the carpet. Fitness Center has only 2 towels daily and the water refilling station literally trickles water.
