I booked a balcony room about a month prior to my trip. When I got there I was told there hast been a fire 2 weeks prior so my room wasn’t available. I hate that wasn’t communicated because I could’ve had 2 weeks to find another room. They did offer another room but we were not happy with it so we ended up canceling. They did not penalize us for canceling and we were able to get a full refund which I appreciate. We ended up calling around and there were really no other hotels available around bourbon likewe wanted so we came back to this one and they said they didn’t have anything either.. although I know I’d literally just canceled one here. I would try this location again simply for the location, however I am not pleased with the service so far

Unfortunately I was very disappointed and upset in the end. I was overcharged by double which I ended up wasting a day and a half trying to work through with management. Most of the money was eventually reimbursed also without the currency conversion fee (which they promised to reimburse and only 1/4 of that was) There was also a charge which I wasn’t told about $50per day US charge up front for incidentals and $15 of that you need to redeem on purchase in the hotel. They had promised to resolve the day before leaving, said they would email when looked at by accounting that day and didn’t. On checking out the ladies on desk were rude and said I didn’t need to be reimbursed for anything with no apology or empathy. Felt awful when I had to leave for my flight. I paid twice as much money than I have previously at other hotels in New Orleans and had the worst experience. The room cleaning requests and sheet change I had to ask twice about and remind of the suitable times as well as toilet paper and tissues.. the cleaning was missed on 4 days and I had to wipe all draws out on arrival after 30 hours of flying… I will never stay there again and they still owe me money for their mistakes. This is not up to standard advertised…

The room was the size of a large closet and very dark. Way overpriced for this. The building needs to be remodeled. The pool area was crumbling.

When we got there we found out the room we booked was not available and was not told before arriving. We ended up with a lower end room with a $50 a day credit for the inconvenience. This was really disappointing. The room was okay the toilet was dirty and the noise level throughout the whole stay was aggravating especially early in the morning. It was the staff that was making these noises. It almost sounded like they were moving furniture around. It was crazy. Would I stay there again probably not. Some of the staff were rude also.

Would not stay here again.

Halls had unvacuumed debris for entire 4 days of stay. Front lobby was so overly scented that we had to run through it. Bathroom was clean but shabby (tub had many patches in the enamel, shower valve was almost falling off), one thin plastic cup for us to share, room refrigerator had loose particle board from previous leak, window was very dirty and had one cracked pane of glass. Overall very shabby.
