The stay was fine, hotel was nice and we loved its proximity to the French Quarters. However, the fact that check-in was supposed to be at 4, but we weren’t allowed to check in until 6 was very frustrating. The staff was polite and explained their reasoning, but travelers coming from out of town shouldn’t need to suffer because of poor hotel management. I guess they figured the 2 bottles of water they offered as a peace gesture would suffice.

Front desk staff was friendly. Valet cost the same as a nearby parking lot cost. Room was small but comfortable. Easy walk to French Quarter, Cafe Du Monde and Super Dome. Only negative, is that the street outside our room was very noisy- stay on a higher floor if possible. We were on the 2nd floor.

The room was great, comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. The check-in and check-out were performed by this great staff without a hitch and very quickly. They called the room a little after we arrived to make sure everything was to our expectations.

Staff is very friendly but the property itself I would not recommend. My room upon arrival was not as advertised. I was under the impression I’d be receiving wooden floors because that is what I was shown upon booking, I came in to moldy smelling carpet. There was a stain on the front door that looked like someone killed a bug and left it. Gross. Closet door was chipped, the best part was the staff and the hot water. Other than that I don’t plan to revisit this property.
