Steps to Endymion and Zulu Parades during Mardi Gras!
North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This home is ideally located within close proximity to numerous New Orleans landmarks, including Jackson Sqaure (2.1 Miles), Caesar's Superdome/Smoothie King Center (1.0 Miles), The National WWII Museum (2.9 Miles), and City Park (4.0 Miles).
If you have any questions about the neighborhood, please send us a message!

★ Having so many bedrooms and bathrooms made our group stay super easy.
Mid-City puts you right in the rhythm of New Orleans - steps from the Endymion parade route, a short walk to the streetcar, and just minutes from the French Quarter. This five-bedroom home is laid out for groups who want room to breathe, gather, and actually enjoy the city together.
Living space
Natural light moves through the open living areas, giving the home an airy, welcoming feel. There's plenty of room to spread out - whether you're recapping a night on Frenchmen Street, watching a game, or simply taking a slow morning before the day picks up. Ceiling fans, central air conditioning, and room-darkening shades keep things comfortable no matter what the weather is doing outside.
Sleeping arrangements
Five bedrooms sleep up to ten guests. Four rooms each have a king bed dressed in plush linens, and the fifth has two single beds - a solid setup for families or mixed groups. Three full bathrooms, including private and Jack-and-Jill configurations, plus a half bath, mean no one is waiting long in the morning.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is set up for real cooking. You'll find a Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, drip coffee maker, hot water kettle, toaster, and baking sheet - along with cooking basics, dishes, silverware, and wine glasses. Pull everyone around the dining table for a proper meal, or keep it casual at the breakfast bar with a cup of coffee before heading out.
Outdoor living
The private balcony is a good spot for a slow morning or an evening drink. Out back, the fully fenced backyard has a fire pit, BBQ grill, outdoor dining area, and cornhole - the kind of setup that keeps a group happily occupied before or after a parade. Outdoor furniture is provided so you can linger as long as you like.
Comfort & convenience
Fast Wi-Fi and smart TVs are set up throughout the home. A dedicated workspace in a common area handles remote work or itinerary planning. The washer and dryer are in-unit and free to use, and you'll find a hair dryer, iron, hangers, clothing storage, and cleaning products on hand. A first aid kit, fire extinguisher, smoke alarm, and carbon monoxide alarm are in place, and exterior security cameras are present on the property in line with local regulations.
Family-friendly features
Traveling with young children? A pack 'n play/travel crib and folding or convertible high chair are both available upon request. Babysitter recommendations can also be provided if needed.
Parking & location
Two private driveway spaces are included, with free street parking also available. Trader Joe's is nearby for stocking up, and the Endymion parade route and streetcar are both walkable. The French Quarter is just minutes away - making this a particularly well-positioned base for festival weekends and extended New Orleans stays.
Please note: No parties, no unregistered guests, and no smoking. Any attempt to host a party of any kind will result in immediate termination of the stay with no refund.
