We had issue with non working key card, but the staff was able to resolve it after changing the key card 5 times. The carpet and bathroom were dirty and the room smelled like chlorox. We would not stay here again.

We have stayed there multiple times. It was very disappointing paying more than we ever have and not have hot water to shower. After telling the front desk the suggestion was to let the tub run first. That is not how hot water works and of course it did not work in this instance. Very old and outdated hotel but as we have stayed there before we knew this. I can't say we will bother staying there again after this experience.

Super happy i found this little place. Wasn't sure upon booking but was the best idea. N.O. hotels can be nasty. This place was nicer than many fancier hotels. It was very simple & very plain. However, it was incredibly clean, especially by N.O. standards. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. We felt super safe there which, by N.O. standards, is a unicorn. Didn't see any homeless in the area. No crackheads outside the door. Super quick & easy commute to the daubauchery, if thats what you want. I live in Louisiana & travel to N.O. multiple times a year. This will be my go-to place moving forward. So glad I found this little place. That said, the front desk lady i dealt with the most made it clear she felt distane & contempt for everyone walking thru the door. However, this is kind of standard in N.O., unfortunately. Security guard was really friendly. Had a nice little conversation with him. Housekeeping was also very nice & helpful with a minor problem. Was shocking finding nice people in N.O. I've already recommended this place to friends who also travel regularly to N.O. Zero regrets.
