The breaker blew in the breakfast room when we was there and the person didnt do anything to fix it. We had to sit in there with no lights because they wont let u take the plates out. Then the fire alarms were pulled down so its not up to code this hotel shouldnt even be running . The lady at the desk was rude

If I could rate lower I would rate it aot lot lower. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, even if it's more expensive. To start I pre paid for the room through Expedia, I arrived an hour before "check in" front desk clerk charged me a 20$ early check in fee, my first mistake was agreeing. After checking in and going to the room. We set up and left to downtown NOLA, when we arrived back to our room, the front desk clerk was walking around and he walks up to me and asks for a tip ($$$). I have never been asked that by anybody not even a waiter who works for tips. Anyway, after checking out and leaving I decide to check my bank statement out of curiosity and what do you know, the hotel charged me 134.94 for the room. When I had paid it through Expedia. I called the hotel and the front desk clerk, the same one who asked for a tip, refused to refund the room charge to my card saying I had not prepaid for the room. He started yelling at me when I kept insisting he double charged me and hung up on me mid argument. I called back and he started yelling again, realized I was going to get nowhere with him. Now I'm trying to fight it through my bank. Worst hotel experience ever. They need to change the staff here and maybe then it'll be a decent place to stay at.

The staff was very unfriendly, we asked for a few more towels was told no. The parking lot was in and out of traffic all night long! The barroom down street was so loud couldn’t sleep! The lights from parking lot was shining in room! Ice machine on the floor was out of service not to mention a big safety issue no cover on it plus wouldn’t got ice from it if it was working! The trash by garbage cans was disgusting. So I go on and on!! I know for sure would never go back again!!!!

The room itself was fine: nice, clean, spacious. However, one bedside table, lamp and floor lamp couldn’t even be plugged in because there was no outlet to be reached. And the safety lock on their door was broken so no safety. Additionally, their continental breakfast was a bust because there was “no power”. Convenient considering there was power everywhere else. As a side note, they charge a $50 refundable deposit which isn’t mentioned anywhere.
