Our guests have the option for an in person check-in which includes a walkthrough of the property, demonstration of the amenities, as well as recommendations for the area, with one of our experienced local New Orleans Property Managers (for no extra charge).

This property is located in the New Marigny neighborhood of NOLA. Roughly 7 blocks to the French Quarter and similar, if not closer proximity to Frenchmen st. There are dozens of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. You are exactly where you need to be! We also have a great relationship with the bar the bar The GOAT and Poor Boys located directly next door! They're phenomenal and quirky local hangout!

Guests have access to the entire property. You will be given private access codes and are the only ones with these codes. There are two separate keypad entrances. The entire space is yours to enjoy.

There are 5 private bedrooms, an office and 3.5 baths. The master bedroom has an en-suite bath and king bed as well as a triple bunk featuring a full and two twins. Four bedrooms are furnished with queen beds, closets, and overhead fans. The office designed as dual space with a desk and chair, and an extra twin bed. The main living room has a futon couch, a large flat screen tv, and an open space for entertainment. The master suite features both king sized bed + a beautiful soaking tub that's perfect for relaxing and a separate walk-in shower. There are two fully equipped kitchens and two laundry areas for guest use. You can access the property through either entrance, but there is a main entrance that will access the entire space. The renovations were done in 2020, and this property has been happily hosting short term rental guests since!

Guests are also encouraged to travel by using ride share apps such as Uber/Lyft. Chauffeur and Cab services are also available. The property is at a such a great location for walking around to the most popular areas in the city such as Frenchmen street and Bourbon street.

The "bar" next door is really more of a club that sometimes hosts live music outside, sharing a wall with most of the beds and bedrooms in the property. The music made the walls shake and I could feel the bass in my chest as I was laying in bed. They say on the listing they have a "good relationship" with the bar, but I have no idea what that means if they're music is playing at until 6am that measures at 50-80 decibels *inside* the bedrooms(I measured it with an app). Most of our guests struggled to sleep the first night, even with their noise cancelling headphones in playing music or white noise. The second night, we dragged mattresses to the side of the house further from the bar and we slept fine that second night, but if I knew we were going to need to sleep on the floor even going to bed at 2am, I would have just booked a hostel. The property could be more transparent about the *outdoor* music with a *6am closing time* (which I'm pretty sure is in violation of NOLA's noise ordinances...) or at the very least provide complimentary earplugs. I have lived next door to a bar before, so I had some idea what to expect, but this was beyond what I consider reasonable, especially given it is located decently far enough away from Bourbon street and other bar hubs. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable, the showers were nice, and the location was pretty walkable. I was very grateful that the host let us check in a little earlier than the listed time.

The host was great (very responsive and helpful). The VRBO is exactly as expected. What was UNEXPECTED was just how LOUD the area is. The bedroom walls are adjacent to a bar that is open til 6:00AM and play music loud enough to rattle the house; the opposite side of the house is less than a block to another bar; motorcycles rev their engines all night. Very little sleep is possible here.

Max is very responsive, the house is large, ample space & the other side provides privacy. Accommodations are clean and well laid out. There are places nearby within walking distance. Few bars close that stay open late, however safe area and secure.

Place was very clean when we arrived. Had plenty of room for our group with plenty of beds. Walkable location to Bourbon. Can just be very loud from the bar next door when trying to sleep.

Great Location / Loud

The property was great! Lots of room for all of our group. House was very clean and nicely renovated. The only issue is this house is next door to a bar, half the bedroom’s windows are about a foot away from patio of bar next door. Might want to beef up the entrance doors to the house to help with security and peace of mind.
