Walls are paper-thin. I could hear my neighbors and people in the hall all the time. The room itself was laid out fine, was updated, and had a comfortable bed. Staff was polite and knowledgeable. It was a great location at a fair price, but I wouldn't stay again because of the excessive sound.

Clean room, everything works in the hotel room (upkeep/renovations), pleasant staff, and lobby is visually pleasant. I've been this DoubleTree by Hilton 20+ years ago and was pleasantly surprised to see how nice is looks and that maintenance is kept up.

The check-in process went smoothly and the valet service was the same. The hotel was very busy but there were not lines for the elevator. The room was clean and the size was perfect for just a long weekend trip. Also great location, close enough to walk to Bourbon, the French Quarter and the Riverwalk.

Room was not cleaned in daily routine. The hallway never vacuumed. For all my 4 nights ventilator in the hallway next to my room was running day and night. The noise was very loud. Even though I told front desk person that the noise is very bad nobody responded. The nice thing was warm cookies in checking in to the hotel .
