Place was conveniently located and historic with beautiful brick walls but the first room had a roach in the kitchen even though it was clean. We were mved to another room the size of a 1 bedroom apartment.it was great but the last night the whole side of the building last power abd we were moved to a much smaller room Tbe staff helped us move and We were refunded 1 night for the inconvenience. Also had washer and dryers at no additional cost. The staff was excellent. Even with problems we would stay again thinconvenience was clean. Being from the south we get it

The rooms were clean and the hotel itself is very close to everything. We were able to walk all over the French Quarter easily. and honestly, the value for the room for what we got was absolutely amazing. The staff was so friendly they even remembered our names which was so sweet. The only reason I didn’t give a five star review is because we had a couple instances where the bedroom door in our room got stuck to the point where it took two of us to get out, and because I will say since you are so close to Canal Street, it is very very loud and if you are a light sleeper, you probably will not like this. Overall, it was an amazing day and I will be recommending this location to friends and family who are visiting New Orleans.

Kitchen fully equipped. (Though no hair dryer.) Everything was awesome and the location couldn’t have been better whether walking to Jackson Square or Bourbon Street. So much more charming than a big chain hotel.

The location of this place couldn’t have been better! It had an artsy vibe and our room was very spacious. It was very clean and had everything to make our stay comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Jasmine and Karen.

The oven didn't work. The staff was as helpful as they could be. The maintenance engineer even took me down to the employee lounge to use their microwave! The fridge and sink worked fine, and there were plenty of silverware, bowls, glasses, and plates. Just no way to prepare anything. I would have switched hotels if doing so were simpler. As it was, I left well enough alone, and enjoyed the city.
