We arrived a couple of hours before check and asked if we could check in early. The attendant said there were no rooms ready and if there were early check-in room it would be an extra $50 on a $94 room. So surprised by both no a single room ready at that time at all(several hours after checkout time) and that cost vs room rate. Tho tired we went and walked around the old part of town and returned at check in time. The room was neat but had a bit of a chemical smell. We took a quick dip in the pool(smaller that the pic appears) and cleaned up went out to a scheduled dinner and then checked out and drove home.

- When booking through 3rd parties like Expedia, there is a $100 refundable fee. - Room was clean enough, didn’t feel grimy or gross. There wasn’t any attention to details like lampshades or the like, but it was fine. - Room smelled of old smoke even though the hotel is non-smoking. - Halls and dining area were musty and gross. - Staff was polite, friendly and patient

Everyone there was very nice and helpful. There was a problem with our original reservation and Mary helped us. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. We stayed two nights. We are on an extended trip and this was one of the nicer places we stayed.

Interior designer faux pas, but otherwise GREAT!

Everything about this hotel was very, very good...Except...the closet curtain in all the rooms utilized a significant sized panel of a putrid green color that aesthetically made no sense with the primary colors of the room, and there was no other similar color in the rooms to warrant this application. Time to get another interior designer. Still, I would come here again because everything else was so good

I spend much of my summers at Stennis Space Center, and every time I'm in the area, the Best Western in Slidell is my top choice. This hotel is clean, quiet, and very well-maintained — a true home away from home. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. Ms. Brittany, Ms. Mary, and recently Ms. Chris (I thing is his name) at the front desk are an absolute great: always welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful. The staff goes above and beyond to make every stay smooth. The entire reception team, housekeeping staff, and breakfast crew are equally kind, attentive, and efficient. You can feel their pride in what they do. Rooms are spotless and well-equipped with everything you need: strong Wi-Fi, great A/C, hot showers, comfy beds, and daily service. The breakfast is fresh, varied, and healthy, with 24/7 coffee available. The pool, gym, laundry room, and safe parking only add to the comfort. Whether you're in town for business or just passing through, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s reliable, peaceful, and run by genuinely good people.
