I chose this hotel for my wife's hopefully romantic, birthday weekend. Although the hotel was very nice, I was extremely disappointed in the Standard room king bed room, which I purchased, over the nearby Hampton Inn, Hillton Inn, and Marriot Courtyard, due to the false advertisement of the room in the 6 accompanying slides. We had stayed here only an hour from our house due to lodgings attributes for our stay. 1) SLIDE 3 showed a COUCH, which was an EXTREME FACTOR in my choosing this Hotel. Instead, they had 1 single solitary chair for 2 people, so we were unable to sit and watch TV together. SLIDE 4 Showed a large Refrigerator, which we hoped to put the Birthday cake in, and put Ice Cream in the freezer. Instead, they had a Small refrigerator underneath the desk which was useless to our needs, and forced us to leave the Cake in the car and forego the Ice Cream. In summary, the hotel was nice, but falsely advertised the couch, and large refigerator which is why I purchased the Hyatt hotel, and not the other,nice hotels which I noted earlier. The room was falsely advertised, plain and simple. I didn't mention this at checkout, as I didn't want to embarrass my wife on her birthday weekend. I was planning to stay at the Hyatt next year for our 10th anniversary, but now no way.

The staff was very nice. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The room was only ok. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, too firm. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. I personally don't like feather pillows. And the sheets were too small for the bed. They should have been deep pocket sheets but were not. Every time my husband or I rolled over the fitted bottom sheet popped off. That should not happen at this price point. And the shower door wanted to rool open as if it was not level.. We won't be going back.
