Our room and the hotel were very clean. The only issue was the pressure of the hot water. I took a shower with it turned onto straight hot water and there still wasn't hardly enough pressure to take a shower and still not very hot.

Room was clean but the windows needed cleaning. Bathroom had conditioner but no shampoo. Continental breakfast served the same as any hotel but here a server served your waffle or eggs or sausage and actually expected a tip. No menu no tip sorry. A bit over charged for what we got. Very poor parking. If they offered golf cart transporters from lots B and C back and forth from the hotel would be nice.

Parking is horrible. Trailers for the craft show tjat was goung on at tbe event center were blocking several spots so parking was very limited. They were not doing anything about cars not having parking pass which hurt hotel guest and didn't allow for space for paying guests.

The parking was HORRIBLE. The hotel gave us a parking pass for their parking lots but allowed everyone who did not have a parking pass park in the lot for free. They should have cars without a pass towed but did not. It took me almost an hour of riding around until a spaces became available. Very aggravating. I will NEVER stay here again.

Hotel location is excellent. Staff friendliness had declined a bit but was excellent this stay… especially the early morning desk and breakfast staff. Solid good breakfast (excellent eggs). It does still catch me that this place could absolutely be a 5 star that I’d even be willing to pay more to stay at with a bit more from the Management. Still a good stay, but lots of untapped potential.

A dirty towel was on the bathroom floor and they did replace towels in my room. The housekeeping supervisor only offered me 2 cookies, 2 waters, and 2 free alcoholic beverages as compensation.

Natchitoches is a beautiful town! Especially around the holidays. The Chateau Saint Denis is a lovely old hotel that has been well kept. It has a beautiful courtyard with a view of some of the lovely town buildings. We had to hit the road early the next morning, so we didn’t get to enjoy breakfast, but we enjoyed a restful sleep on a comfy mattress. We were very pleased with our stay.

Lost power, staff did zero to assist older people with luggage down the stairs. My wife his handicap and they offered no assistance. They asked like it was our issue to that power was out. I had to help numerous people with their luggage and assist through the darkness. Will never use Expedia for booking or stay at this hotel.
