"The grand was fantastic 10 years ago! It seriously needs updating. If you stay more than 1 night, after the air fresheners wear off, you can really smell how nasty the carpet is. Breakfast is still the same as Covid times, it’s a line were people serve you, I like to make my own in the proportions I like, It used to be good now it is mediocre, bland. I remember that lady who used to make the best fresh eggs.! Bar was closed on Saturday night???? The elevators made scary noises and were sketchy…mattress and pillows needed updating . Please make this place to what it used to be. Overall, I like the price i got, but it used to be better."

"I got marry here 20 years ago. What a huge drastic change for this place. I’m disappointed. The driveway was not taken care off. You need 4 wheel drive to get up the little slope. The room I stayed in was nothing like the first time. From the double bathroom sink being wobbly and almost falling off, to the air vents looking like they’ve not been wiped down in months. The stains on the fabric on the bed, the yellow stains on the ceiling, the gaps on the hardwood floors. The stairs going up to the room. Everything just looked dirty and not kept up. Over 300.00 per night. Not happening again. The breakfast was DELICIOUS!!! That grits for breakfast was the BEST!! Dinner was good. But just not great! Not sure what happened to this place. But it was a big letdown. I had to make the best of it since it was an anniversary outing. Won’t happen again. "

"Very few options for breakfast and seemed to be limited to the first couple guests who went through as when i passed around 7:25 there were empty dishes. Faucet in the shower was busted so that you had to press hard into the wall to turn the water on and only would spew water from both the showerhead and the faucet. Bed was soft as very alarming to walk in initially and have to crank the a/c on 64 to cool the room down as the properties method of keeping cost down i guess it's setting the temp in the 80s after guests leave so that the a/c never is running. The 2 desk staff were professional these were the only staff i saw. Overall couldn't beat the price but unlikely to ever come back very disappointed as i don't think it was even with the bargain i paid to stay here. "

"The hotel is obviously in transition. The suite was sparsely furnished. A table but no chairs. Absolutely no amenities, of any kind. Our Tv didnt work, despite mutiple attempts by their excellent desk staff. We asked to be moved and were told it was a property wide issue. We left early. Also it is near a very busy and noisy highway. All in all, aside from their incredible desk folks, the stay was not good."
