"House was great! The ice maker was reported in May 2025 not working, still not working. I called the owner and sent him the information about the refrigerator, but didn’t get repaired. It talks about the great views and the sun set but the deck is rotten and has been for quite a while. Could not use the deck. The front porch has wicker furniture but not cushions. "

"This place is terrible. The room was dirty. It smelled like musty, mildew, and mold. There was mold or mildew on the closet door. The lock on the front door was loose. Screws are falling out. The floors were dirty like they’ve never been vacuumed. The lamps were broken, rusted, and falling apart. Everything about this place was disgusting. Do not go here. We unfortunately had to stay. It was late at night. I have a toddler and there were no other options. We slept on top of the covers and left early in the morning. Save your money. Do not stay at this place. It is terrible."

"Vicksburg is all about the Civil War and you couldn’t ask for a better place than the Inn at Cedar Grove. Meals were excellent and the Staff were attentive. The Inn could use further renovations but not a huge issue given its age and use. Lots of history within the Inn itself. "
