Everything was great! We had everything we needed for our 3 night stay, and the staff checked in often to make sure things were running smoothly. We would stay here again. The hall/stairways were a little dated and worn looking, but we were pleasantly surprised by the modern and clean unit itself.

Parking is tight for a larger vehicle but free so that saves $50 a night. No front desk. No luggage storage. No refills on anything. Only one hand towel and two wash clothes for two people for three days. Requested and early checkin three days ahead like Avantstay website requires and response was can’t request until day of. Request refused even though room was ready. Be aware the door code will not work until after 4pm. Bed was comfortable. No overhead lighting in bedroom so very dark. Only wall switch by door to turn off bedside lamps. Safe was out of order. Living room floor was coming up. Watch your toes. Advertised Apple TV but it is Roku. Only AC in living room with a small slat into bedroom. Bathroom door does not close. Kitchen with ice maker was useful for drinks. Did not cook. Cleaning staff did a good job and were very nice. Four long city blocks to broadway. Safe area. Would recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was close to broadway and very clean. My only suggestion would be the lighting in the bathroom is not good. Being a woman and needing to put make-up on this was not good…but everything else was perfect.

The bed is comfortable and the couch is just okay. The kitchen area was clean and offered soaps and such. I have stayed here twice now and my other room was much nicer. The only thing I loved was that I was on the first floor this time and didn’t have to drag my luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The room however is under renovation apparently. I wasn’t compensated nor even acknowledged when asked about it. There are no floors. There is rust and debris. The baseboards aren’t even attached. For the amount I paid I was appalled. There is also no fan and very little ventilation in bedroom and no lighting. I pay a cleaning fee but I’m not sure where that’s going because there really was much to be desired. Also I see now it’s owned by someone else and the prices have doubled! I’m in shock. I like the location and the parking but now asking $500+ a night will be a no go for me.

Everything was good! It was walking distance to the board walk, very clean, comfortable bed & everything we needed was in the hotel from refrigerator microwave stove etc... The only thing it was a non smoking hotel with no smoking area & my finance was a smoker. He had to walk off the premises every time he took a smoke.
