Location was great and the hotel itself was excellent. On our 3rd evening there were a bunch of college kids here for a football game and they were screaming and knocking/kicking on doors on the 8th floor where we stayed. This went on for well over 30-45 minutes at 3am Sunday morning.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Nashville and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel had plenty of amenities available which was convenient in case you forgot anything. The lobby was roomy and inviting. The complimentary breakfast was great with plenty of options. We did run into an issue with the hot water during our stay. The staff explained there was a problem with the boiler’s float and although it was fixed the water temperature afterward swung from scalding hot to freezing cold which made showers a bit of a challenge. Thankfully it did not overshadow the rest of the stay too much. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location only about an eight minute walk right to Broadway. With the water issue aside it is a solid choice for anyone visiting Nashville.

The breakfast is free but I chose to eat out several mornings. The cooked food just did not look appetizing. They had a pancake maker that made two, thin pancakes that reminded me of frozen cookie dough. Coffee was good. Cereal and yogurt were good.

Our first morning we had no hot water, the following four days the water was warmer not hot. The mattresses are very uncomfortable. they are worn out. They have no support. It’s like sleeping in a hole. we paid $75 a night for valet parking one evening we had to go in and find the attendant, on our morning when we were leaving to go catch our flight there was no attendant available the associate at the front desk gave us our keys and we had to go to the garage and get our own vehicle. needless to say we will not be staying at the Holiday Inn express again.
