The hotel was desolate. They gave us a cheaper room than paid for until we brought it to their attention. We paid for a whirlpool tub in out room and they gave us a handicapped walk in shower then moved us upon complaining. The pool was FILTHY, no filter working, the pool heater was not working and the temp was 65 degrees. the hot tub was broken and tarped. We called the day before to confirm and NEVER told of these conditions. I’ve requested 2xfor mgmt to call they never did.

Acceptable, but needs some TLC and upgrades

Overall, the hotel was acceptable. The room itself was clean with the exception of spots on the carpeting. Also, carpets in the hallways and stairwells were dirty. The place seems like it was charming at one time, but needs a lot of TLC and upgrades to bring it back up the that charm.

My stay was perfect. Even though Expedia didn't provide a real oceanfront (instead a sliver of a view), the staff and location more than made up for it. Plus there's a great communal deck with awesome view of ocean and beach. The staff were terrific. When I had my car window smashed in while in Providence, the maintenance guy cleaned it all up. Front desk women (Cassandra and Donna) were friendly and also helpful all around. Great stay. Plan on returning.

Half the lights in our room didn’t come on, the toilet ran all night, the window casing was loose and banged all night, the carpet felt “moist” and the worst was there were blood droplets in the hallway by the elevator in the evening and they were still there the next morning!

Dirty hotel stuck in 1980

Room was dirty, mold on the window, smoke alarm needed new batteries and when the front desk was notified they made us change the batteries not a staff member. Then at 3 AM the batteries provided by the front desk died and the alarm proceeded to go off. After going back to the front desk the answer was “yank at the cords” Weird vibe, could be a nice hotel but it’s definitely seen much better days. Save your money and rent near another RI beach

Services and Rebate promised NOT delivered

They advertise on their site that they have a pool, hot tub, snack bar and deli. There was no snack bar or deli at all.The pool and hot tub were what we booked it for, for our granddaughters, mostly, staying with us. Well, the hot tub broke 5 days before we checked in. We weren't informed. I can see that things break and parts take awhile to get for hot tubs. But, inform someone ahead of time. The pool was closed also when we were there. A hot tub being broken should not effect the pool, closing it also. They day we checked out, they told us the pool was now open. Thanks a lot, not, as we were checking out you tell us the pool we now can't use is open? The rooms were huge and clean, but the TV's were tiny, and mine at a severe angle to the side of bed instead of in. I got a neck ache. We asked for rooms away from the elevator and on top floor, we got rooms not on the top floor, and one of the two rooms we rented was right across from the elevator. Our room was very far away from our daughter's and grand daughters' room. When we said we were shocked no hot tub or pool, the staff took out our the first day, to tell the manager. The second day, they again took our name and email and cell phone number, as they said the manager said we would get a partial rebate of our total cost becuase of the pool and hot tub closed. We DIDN'T ASK for THIS, they suggested it. Well, the rebates never came. We emailed them and called, they never responed. We felt lied to.

This is the second time my wife and I stayed at Aqua Blue, and I must say, it is very conveniently situated in terms of the beach, restaurants, and local shopping. The property is kept clean, as are the individual rooms. The only issue that we faced was with the check-in process, which was sub par.

Could use freshening up - hallways, lobby. Pool wasn’t appealing . Room was good. Bathtub jets didn’t work . Location of hotel very good. Staff were nice. Wish we had chairs on our balcony to sit- there were none. Bathroom amenities good.

The property definitely could be updated. The carpets and rooms are outdated. We could hear the kids next door when sleeping. We asked for towels at the front desk and never got any. My fiance had to go ask a maid for them down the hall. The convenience to the beach was the only thing we liked.
