Really liked this spot because it’s in the middle of Kyoto and Osaka. The hotel is 10/10 there’s a laundry room and a gym room as well as a cafe and Jazz bar which is amazing so much offered by this hotel much better and the price was amazing.

Clean room, plenty of shops nearby. Nice view. Unfortunately for us, with 2 kids who drink a lot of water, there was no where to fill up water bottles. As per the staff on the first day, they just told us to come get some water bottles from reception. So we got 2 extra and then just boiled water in the kettle cos I hate using up so many bottles. On the second day when we asked as we were leaving, one the staff just said to buy it from Lawson.

This is very close to Nara JR station, less than 5 minutes walk. Very conveniently located near all the famous temples in Nara. This is a fantastic hotel, very impressed by how nice it is. Nice enough hotel but the property does not deserve it's VIP access status. My Gold membership was not recognised at check-in and when I mentioned it I was told there where no benefits. I have stayed in several Nara non-VIP hotels over the last few years and all have treated me better. Redeeming feature was it's excellent shower/bathroom unit in the room so it gets 4 stars.

Basic . Clean . Tiny Room (couldnt fully open the suitcase) Good for the price compared to others on offer. A little far from the deer park on foot
