The Neighborhood:

We were not happy with this place at all. Not as advertised. 0-10 I will give it a 3. 3 - 1. Because it was clean when we arrived and your cleaning person has obviously studied origami. 2. The bed was comfortable enough (pillows are a disaster). 3. Great view of the golf course. Here are the very serious problems:1. Shampoo-Conditioner-Body Wash dispenser has some grey substance at the bottom and a colored substance at the top?2. Towel hanger in bathroom missing3. Exhaust fan in bathroom does not work4. Picture in living room has been removed leaving a very ugly spot5. Outdoor furniture is so waterlogged you cannot sit on them6. Fireplace candles appear to have mold on them7. Closet to the living room is a disaster with multiple coffee pots with notes that say "Does Not Work"8. Water stains in closet9. Dents in refrigerator10. Wallpaper pealing in bathroomIt looks like this place has flooded or something, and placed back in service very hastily. We have stayed in this resort before, but this unit was a completely different experience. I did not read the reviews prior to renting, but I will go back now and see what others have said. We have stayed at VRBO properties from Hawaii to Florida and have never given bad reviews. This will be the first.

Great location on the Silverado golf course, close to downtown Napa and the rest of the valley. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, covered parking. The host was quite communicative and helpful as well. If the fireplace worked (even just a closed unit that wouldn't create a fire hazard), the condo would be perfect. We look forward to staying there again.

Relax in gorgeous Silverado Spa & Resort

This property is located at the Silverado Resort and Spa and it is fabulous! Loved the location also for this unit near the greens. We had a wonderful time exploring nearby wineries and restaurants. The unit is well equipped and was very easy to check into. Looking forward to coming back!

Traveled with the wife for a little 4 day getaway for some golf and exploring the wine County. The property fit our stay perfectly, from having the kitchen to prepare a few meals to being close to the HOA pool and to top of the evenings releaxing on the back patio watching the sun set over the 2nd hole green. Lovely little condo that was perfect for our trip to visit family in Napa. The large bedroom had a very comfortable bed and plenty of closet space. The view of the Napa hills from the back patio was relaxing. Our host David was attentive without being intrusive, a perfect combination.

Not up to expectations

The location of the property is excellent. But the good stops there. The unit has not been updated in something like 50 years. There was a leak in the bathtub when we arrived and the unit was extremely humid and smelled of mildew. Communication with the host was difficult and they asked for a large number of hidden fees and deposits out of band. The price is similar to the resort pricing, but the unit is nowhere near the condition of the resort managed units. I would highly recommend folks just stay through the resort for a guarantee of quality and access to the amenities.

Worst VRBO experience we have had

The good news is this condo is on the second hole of the north course at Silverado and the view is as beautiful as described.The rest, not good. Two coffee pots did not work, no heating in the condo, light over the kitchen sink went out. Very limited silverware, no dish soap for the sink. Poor shampoo/soap options in the bathroom. Furniture in poor condition. The list goes on. We contacted the customer service number and got no help. We messaged the owner and only got automated info back about mid stay cleaning ...We have stayed at many VRBO's and other rental locations for over two decades. This was by far our worst experience. We even cut the visit short by a night due to the issues, even though the night was already paid for.

The condo was nice, spacious & just what I needed. A good, safe, quiet area. I needed to work remotely & the desk & internet were a huge plus. Check in information could have been better. Info about how to check in should be sent immediately even if the code is not sent until check in time. A few more basic amenities would have been good - kitchen sponge & towels, more than 11/2 roll of TP etc.but o over all a good stay

Great Silverado Condo

Our family visits Napa often to see family, and we usually stay in the Silverado condos. This was our first time in this particular unit. The check-in process was a bit much - forms, questionnaires and add-on options for a price. A LOT of information was sent, but most of it didn't pertain to our stay (pet fees, early check-in/ late check-out, options for things to do in Napa, etc.). I received a message about our deposit after I had already paid it. I had to send my confirmation #, and it was cleared up. But, just another thing that made the check-in process bulky. The unit is in a great location and the keyless entry is very easy and efficient. My only recommendation would be that this unit gets a good deep cleaning. Despite these minor inconveniences, we would definitely stay in this unit again next time we're in Napa.

The location is as advertised. The bed is LUX. The linens are wonderful.

The host was very helpful. Always responded immediately even at 4 am when I was trying to check in. The location is clean and comfortable. The stay was marred by the inconsiderate people with the barking, yipping, crying dogs that will not allow you to sleep and enjoy the pleasant surroundings. The unit is non smoking; again inconsiderate visitors feel the need to stand in the community walkway and share their second hand smoke when you open your door or walk by.

Do not stay here-problem with access, smoke detectors, racism

The electronic lock wasn’t working when we arrived. We called, emailed, sent text to owner and property manager. We sat in our car over an hour waiting to get in after a long drive. It sounds like it’s an ongoing issues that never really gets addressed. Every time we left property, we had challenges getting back in. We also had microaggressive experiences with neighbors in the complex that were racist. I am guessing they may be owners or friends of the unit owner, because as soon as they saw us walking our small maltipoo dog, we got an email from the owner saying we would be fined. We had indicated on our reservation we would have a small dog and the property was dog friendly. Apparently not for gay people of color. We stayed a couple of times in the main area of this complex before and never had problems. All around there were problems with the unit. I followed up with property management multiple times asking for compensation due to repeatedly getting locked out and the smoke alarms keeping us up all night. They kept saying they were looking into it. Shockingly, we never heard back. I recommend you do not stay at this unit, ever.
