Great room with a spectacular view. Staff were friendly and gave excellent service. My only complaint was the noise—the hallway doors to adjoining suites crashed closed and we could hear the occupants of 3rd floor suite above us pacing heavily at night.

The staff is tremendous. The front desk staff went absolutely above and beyond. I can't remember her name but my Folio says it was "swills". I hope she gets this message as she was amazing. The rooms are very modern, the hotel has a very retro beachy vibe, and the restaurant is among the best in Parksville. Try the Fisherman's Chowder. Unreal.

hotel is dog tolerant. lots of areas your dog is not allowed to use the washroom - you can go to the back of the dark wet muddy parking lot to let them go to the washroom. staff are always nice though. i'd say always fairly clean. my bathtub had a very slow drain so it was a bit gross to shower in (told them about it). rooms are not that sound proof. i usually stay here so its good when its affordable!
