I highly recommend this hostellerie. It is at 5 minutes walk from Obahnof transport station and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The breakfast is varied and delicious, and the staff is very friendly.

Enjoyed our stay. Fantastic breakfast, great complementary tea/coffee/water station, friendly staff, clean, and easy to access transit. Some great playgrounds a 5 min walk away for the kids. Only complaint was our laundry smelled weird after using their machines, but it may have been the cycle we chose as the soap didn’t all rinse out.

We booked this hotel at the last minute as part of a break in Munich, the hotel facilities are really good with the shared bar and restaurant between the Residence and Courtyard. It was lovely to be able to sit outside to eat breakfast although being super critical the garden area could use some maintenance. It is ideally suited to wander around the old town area where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to eat at. It is possible to walk into the central part of Munich for the shops but it is around 45 minutes so you are better off using the tram or a taxi to get across especially if you are shopping. It is also very handy that it has a car park that is quite reasonable priced for a city centre.

The location of the hotel was wonderful for us. In less than 10 minutes we could walk to the train station and within 20 minutes be in the middle of the city center. The room was quiet. Breakfast had a variety of hot and cold items to choose from.

I live in the area, I need a hotel for the weekend with my daughter because I was working super late and the weather was bad…we really enjoy it! I would recommend a room facing away from the street but other than that, it was great! Big breakfast ;)
