The hotel stairs in terrible condition and the hotel smells. The room is stuffy. It is definitely not 4 stars. I have stayed in 2-3 star hotels with better condition than this one.

This place has its pros and cons. It is close to the train station and a few minute walk to old town. It has obviously been newly renovated which is good but only on the surface. It is still really small with old infrastructure. The area is sketchy. Lots of men hanging around every door smoking. Close food options are limited to middle eastern, yemeni, halal, etc., which i love, just not for every meal.

Poor stay

This establishment is more like hostel. The room we were allocated was in a separate building to the left of the ‘main hotel’ the door was shared with a takeaway and was consequently open constantly with predominantly men coming in and out. This feels like a security risk. The room was dark and oppressive, poor lighting does little to help. It was very hot during our stay and a fan had been provided, a window still had to be open as the heat was unbearable. The street noise was very loud late into the night. The room was not cleaned and no new towels were provided. The bathroom was very small and the shower would be difficult to use if you were larger than average. The electric sockets sparked when things were plugged in and chargers became overheated quickly. The area is convenient for the train station but was intimidating to walk through at times. The breakfast was the one good thing, it felt in a different league to the rest of the hotel. I would absolutely not recommend staying here.

Helpful and friendly staff at check in and check out. Bed was super comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was better than expected with a lot of variety/ selection. Read reviews about no aircon- wasn’t a problem for us as weather was quite cool however there was a fan in the room:)

The walls of my room had clear residue from past spills that weren’t properly cleaned off before my stay. The bedding was clean and comfy. There was a small fridge and fan I had on 24/7 to cool the room. Breakfast in the morning I’m not sure was worth the €15/day but the convenience of it was very nice. Fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, pastries (croissants, pretzels, etc) and an expresso machine & juice options too.

This property is a complete misrepresentation of the pictures displayed on Travelocity.com The hotel elevator does not work, the AC does not work. The area where the hotel is at is dirty and dangerous. COMPLETE FRAUD. Do not buy the insurance AIG, either. They will not reimburse you. Disapointed in Travelocity, the hotel and AIG.

Solides Hotel nah am Bahnhof

Positiv: sehr nettes Personal an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück. Schönes Frühstücksbuffet Was ich ändern würde wäre der Name des Listings da es sich hier nicht um ein Design Hotel handelt. Die Lage ist auch etwas speziell da die Gegend eher an Istanbul erinnert als an München. Das ist nicht negativ da die Kebaps dann schon sehr gut sind. Fazit: wenn der Name des Hotels im Listing geändert wird und man weiss dass es sich hier um ein solides 3-Sterne Haus handelt kann ich es empfehlen.

NO air conditioning. Hot during the day. Area looks very rundown. Room has no amenities other than a small bathroom with tiny shower and uneven faceut. Morning staff very unfriendly. No space to leave the luggage if come in early. We paid $135 and it is worth may be $50. Don't book this hotel.
