The lodging was awesome, very roomy and clean. It backed up to a tree line full of deer that walked right up to our deck. It was very close to all the fun activities in the area. Beautiful area and I’m sure we’ll be visiting again.

Disliked: Amenities
We checked in a little late 6 pm and was issued our “key” and sent on our way up the mountain. After being stranded for a few hrs with a blowout and so on we have 3 kids who were tired and we bought hot fast food before check in. Long story short our key was wrong and was left at the door step for one hour while they did whatever they had to do to get the passcode we needed. They coulda just issued the code and asked questions later. But we sat. (had to walk like a block from car to property down a mountain) then, the itenerar we planned for our kids snow tubing somehow there was an issue with website and we got set to go and was turned away. When I showed them that it was “booked” on their app! So the only day we had for that activity planned was shot down. We only was staying a few days. So we had a horrible experience just being honest. And they DID NOTHING TO TRY TO ACCOMMODATE US. NOTHING!!!
Pros-
Beautiful view, nice amenities such as jacuzzi anbs sauna) and plenty of space for a family to spread out.
Cons-
Cleaning could be better (laundry machine still had clumps of used detergent, hair on the floor and furniture) and some appliances are old and not working properly (coffee maker was leaking, microwave was glitching) minimal cookware and kitchen equipment.
Mountain View very impressive and pool was excellent. We didn’t have any shampoo or conditioner as speciified in the description. Everything was very nice.
Upon arrival, check-in was a mess. We arrived after hours and kept getting sent back and forth to different lobby’s (which are 7 minutes apart up the mountain). Employees did not have proper communication for late check in protocols.
Amenities given are not sufficient for the stay we booked. If we ran out of soap or toilet paper we were told to purchase some.
We were unable to contact housekeeping staff to get clean towels.
The villa was clean and the view and resort were beautiful.
The furniture and some of the appliances need to be updated. The refrigerator had rust under the ice/water dispenser and the sofa was very uncomfortable, very hard.
Me and my family enjoyed our trip to massanutten. You can tell that the townhomes are outdated compared to the condos that me and my husband stay in when we visit. But it was very comfortable and provided anything and everything that we need. Overall spacious stay with a good price.

Great place for family. It was our second time staying there. There are many activities for kids during summer and a hiking place with a nice view. The property is nice with jacuzzi and a sauna in the main bathroom downstairs. We stayed in a town house with two bedrooms and a mezzanine with twin beds. Only problem we had was the washer not working properly. The property is surrounded by nature and mountains. You see deers everywhere!
