"This is a lower star rated motel and certainly not fancy, but has been partially upgraded... the motel is CLEAN, everything (TV, lights, internet, bathroom, shower, A/C) operates very well, and the Staff is extremely kind and helpful. Coffee, Microwave, and small Refrigerator in room. Soap and Shampoo in room, even a travel toothbrush and paste included. No breakfast. There are newer beds, sheets, towels, pillows. Hotel manager is extremely helpful and goes out of his way to see that all guests are happy with their stay. Would stay again. Recommended for motels in the region and entrance to Mount Saint Helens."

"This was a great family friendly place to stay with tons of amenities that kept our family busy all week. Right on the lake. Peaceful and quiet. Clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed and then some. Felt like home away from home. Close to our family in town. We will definitely be back!"

"WOW, what a little gem of a place, it is just perfect. We wanted an escape from all of the noise and EMR of the city, and we slept soundly without the buzz of 5G. The stars blanketed a dark sky, unlike anything you'll see on the city. We were just down in the area for one night but so glad we stayed and got to experience this very clean and comfortable, little forest getaway. All the touches of comfort that Nelda provided were sweet, and she was always close nearby, so attentive to our every possible need or request, a true Hostess. We will hopefully be back again."

"Marc has put a lot of effort and passion into this property. It's private, has wifi, water, electricity, smart TV's, kitchen, indoor bathroom, etc. The proximity to Mt St Helens is fantastic, and the biggest draw for me. Some things for others who are looking to rent, to keep in mind... it's off grid, so electricity is managed from generators. I had a hard time with electricity going out every 30 minutes. Had to fuss with the generators too much, which is not what I paid almost 200/night to do. I could run one light and a kitchen burner, and then it would trip off. Forget running my air fryer - that just shut everything down. Marc is super nice and helpful and is proud of the cabin, and he should be. It's sweet and interesting. It is very much "roughing" it though, so just understand what you're getting."
