What you would expect for the middle of nowhere

My family and I were excited for this stay, but as our time in the hotel went on the excitement declined. The lobby and dining seemed clean, but our room was not. The basics seemed to have been wiped, but it definitely hasn’t been deep cleaned in quite a while. I do NOT recommend the pool at all. It was green and I regret getting in because it was the dirtiest pool I’ve ever swam in. Full of hair, dirt, and some bandaids; smelling like pee afterward. The staff were polite and the rooms were quiet, the rest was a no go.

Rough stay to say the least

Check-in day was fine. Their breakfast is simply ready to go items in packages or waffles that you make or microwaved scrambled eggs or sausage out of a bag. On the second night we came back to no hot water told the staff, they messed with the boiler and it still wasn’t fixed so that was a cold shower. We then decided to leave a day early and was told I would be charged $63 for leaving a day early. Never had clean towels in the room for the kids to use and the beds were not queen sized beds.

It looked like the property is getting ready to remodeling, updating, something. I would have given the property a 8, or 9, but the dead fly in the room is ok, the one in the refrigerator is not. The empty shampoo bottle would not so bad, but it was bone dry, I would have just mentioned to the staff, but there was no one around.

Decent for in a pinch

Hotel staff was friendly, helpful and sympathetic to the issues we had with the room. The room smelled musty. The hot water took about 20 min of running to get to our room. And the hot water valve on the sink had to be turned off so the sink didn't leak all night long. Didn't try the breakfast.

The pool was disgusting. Completely green and smelled like literal poop. The hot tub was broken. Ice machines were broken and the courtyard was covered in ash and charcoal from the grill. The staff was not accommodating when we asked for ice water in regards to the ice machine being broken and we’re pretty much told that they can’t help us. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom or anything.

Our toom type was over booked, but the lady at the front desk didn't say anything, she just handed me a key. We walked into a room that wasn't completely made up. When i went to ask, the front desk offered to switch our room, but didn't offer a solution to us being short a bed. Later we were offered a rollaway bed, and when set up, not only did it block access to the bathroom but blocked or only fire escape (the room door). Not our best start at this hotel. Crystal made a great breakfast and was very sweet and helpful.

Not many options in town

This property is tired, ragged and worn out. WiFi didn’t work which was annoying as I needed to do some work. The clerk said she didn’t have access to the modem to reset it so she couldn’t help.

The hotel is badly in need of updating. The rooms stink so badly of must. I couldn’t sleep it was so pungent in the room. Worst pillows I have ever had at a hotel. The mattress was so old I could feel the springs in my back. No water pressure or hot water with a note just saying “oh sorry about that”. The workout room had no equipment that worked. The only redeeming thing about this property was the kind staff.

The elevator was broken and we were on the second floor. I helped a lady down the stairs that was on the third floor with a bad knee. The ice machines on the second and third floor was not working either. The hot tub was not working and the pool looked dirty. Went down for breakfast and there was no gravy and when they brought more it was barely warm. Will not visit again nor will we recommend it either.
